These kind of issues:
I’m all set for gym reading material!
What is it about this time of year that makes me buy magazines like it’s going out of style? Subscriptions were one of the things that were axed from our budget when I became a stay-at-home mom. Martha Stewart Living and Weight Watchers (haven’t received this one yet) are the only two magazines I currently receive in the mail and they were both gifts. Buying from the newsstand is very rare for me, but this time of year I can’t seem to help myself.
I originally had two more in my cart, but my sister-in-law wanted to read all of them so we agreed to buy two each. I’ll be trading my SELF and Women’s Health for her Health and Women’s Running when we’re each through with the ones we purchased.
If you noticed that the bottom two on the stack aren’t current issues, you would be correct. They’re both from January 2010. I have several back issues in my closet from a time when I subscribed to more magazines than I could possibly read. Since I don’t have the dinero to subscribe to them anymore, I pull old issues from my stash to cure my magazine cravings from time to time without spending any money. The information is usually still very relevant.
What magazines do you subscribe to? Which ones do you buy at the newsstand?
Psst! Be sure to check back on Monday for a pretty awesome giveaway!
