I woke up a little last yesterday and went to my closet to pick out clothes. That’s when I realized that I own one green shirt. One. It’s not even “real” green. It’s mint green. Good enough. You wouldn’t think this could ever be a problem seeing as how I went to a college with school colors of green & white. Unfortunately, hoodies and t-shirts are not considered business casual.
It was anothe icky tummy morning so just Lipton Lipton Red Rose tea and water until 10AM. That’s when I heated up the last of my Gliding Calm tofu (must make another batch soon) and served it to myself with yellow mustard for dipping. No picture because there were lots of people congregating near my cube. If you’re desperate to see what it looked like, just check out yesterday’s post.
I’m always shocked by how full I stay after eating tofu. No pre-workout snack was required before my lunchtime workout at work. I felt more burn than normal and even broke a mild sweat yesterday. My thighs felt it the most. As I’ve heard other bloggies mention lately, I actually enjoy feeling sore after a workout. It makes me feel strong and I know my muscles have been working.
My post-workout lunch featured a new-to-me product, a La Tortilla Factory EVOO Tomato Basil Softwrap. La Tortilla Factory wraps aren’t easy to find in my area so I was thrilled when I spotted these at the grocery and, of course, had to buy some.
These things are HUGE. They’re especially generous when you take the nutrition information into account.
Fat: 3g (0g Saturated, 0g Trans, 0g Polyunsaturated, 2g Monounsaturated)
Total Carbohydrates: 20g

The texture is very pleasant, not grainy at all. As the name implies, they’re very soft. I HATE when my wraps crumble and break apart while I’m eating. That wasn’t a problem at all with these. The tomato & basil flavor was subtle yet very tasty. I can’t wait to try some of the other flavors.
This wrap had Sabra Classic hummus, American cheese and lettuce.
Also on my plate was a pile of celery sticks and light ranch dressing for dipping. This picture was after eating about 1/3 of the wrap.
To say it was filling would be an understatement. I was comfortably satisfied after eating this around 1:30 and stayed full until about 4. That’s when I broke out the Cherry Pie Larabar. This was a new flavor for me and I liked it a lot.
My husband worked a little late so I thought there’d be about an hour between the time I got home and the time he showed up. The weather was too gorgeous to be wasted so I changed clothes as soon as I walked in the door and laced up my running shoes. I made it about 1/4 of a mile when he pulled up along side me in his truck and offered me a ride. My timeline was apparently a little off. I asked him if he wanted to take a walk with me, but his job is pretty physically demanding and his legs were already sore.
I should have told him to go on home and I’d meet him there, but I felt a little guilty about choosing my run over spending time together because we don’t get to do much of that. Sometimes my personality amazes me. I’m fiercely independent and need lots of “me time,” but I’m also an extreme people pleaser. This leads to a lot of guilt and internal battles.
Once we got home it was dinner (taco salad), a little fetch with the pooch, The Biggest Loser and then bed.
